Hong Kong is proud to host the Season Finale of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, supported by the Cultural, Sport and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR. It is the first time that Hong Kong becomes the new venue for the international fully electric motorsport series. Celebrating its tenth season, the FIA World Rallycross Championship will travel from Europe to Africa and Asia this year. The 2023 World RX calendar includes eight stops, and Hong Kong will host the Championship's Season Finale on November 11 - 12, at the Central Harbourfront Event Space with the World Rallycross Champion to be crowned in Hong Kong.
The rallycross circuit will be built on the Central Harbourfront Event Space from scratch. The circuit is around 1 kilometer long and the surface will be half mud and half tarmac surrounded by grandstands. There are five cars on the starting line in each race and the cars are electric, fast, sliding, jumping and bumping, offering maximum entertainment for the audience.
The Championship will be held in Europe, with stops in Portugal, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany, before moving to South Africa and concluding in Hong Kong.
